1) Box Condition & Size: Find a box that is in good condition that will fit the ammunition snugly with little void fill.
2) Padding: wrap the ammunition boxes together with small-bubble wrap
3) Label Requirements: the black-and-white “Limited Quantity Hazardous Materials” marking (approximately 4 in. by 4 in.) must be securely affixed to the package as a "diamond," as shown here. One (1) label per box is sufficient.
4) Place documents (Invoice, Listing, FFL Docs (If applicable) into box.
6) Seal box with tape, secure seams.
Create Shipping Label
1) Open UPS Worldship
2) Enter in shipment information: Name, Address. (Note: use acronyms in the name. example: “Bob’s Gun Shop”, use “Bob’s G.S.”
3) Enter weight and box dimensions
4) Declare value on ammunition sold over $500
5) NO Adult signature confirmation required.
6) Use “Ground” option
7) Print Label and put label on outside of box (near top end of box)
8) Write customers name on box.
9) Copy/Paste tracking number above.
10) Place boxed gun in UPS pickup area
